How it protects your engine
- 01
Fuel enters the head and flows through the spin-on filter.
- 02
Water separates and drops to the bottom, where you drain it.
- 03
10-micron media traps particles before they reach the engine.
Questions
How do I know if there is water in my fuel?
Water collects in the see-through bowl at the bottom of the filter. If you see it, loosen the drain screw, empty the bowl and tighten it again.
FFWS1003 or FFWS1007? Which bracket?
FFWS1003 is for 3/8" outboard fuel lines; FFWS1007 for 3/4" inboard lines. Bracket FFWSUBRK fits filter FFWS2003 and FFWSUBRS fits FFWS2007.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We ship to select countries with rates shown at checkout. For Latin America, the Caribbean and volume orders, message us on WhatsApp.
How often should I change the filter?
It depends on your engine, fuel quality and how you use the boat. Follow the interval your engine technician recommends after inspecting your system. Check the see-through bowl for water regularly.
Will it replace my current filter?
Frimarine fuel filters are direct replacements for many popular marine brands, including Racor, Mercury, Yamaha, Quicksilver, Sierra, Moeller, Mallory and Marpac. Send us your current part number on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right one.
